Virtual CISO™

Trusted Internet has a need for Partner/Contract Virtual CISOs. The Virtual CISO™ is a unique position requiring a combination of all the information security disciplines, security management, account management and project management.

What is a Virtual CISO™?

The Virtual CISO™ is a seasoned information security practitioner who understands security and can talk with clients. You will work in executive homes and in their businesses to help keep them safe. You will install architecture and controls when needed and respond when they are breached.

Requirements:

  • You must have been a CISO or can demonstrate equivalent responsibility

  • Your communication skills should be superb

  • You must be able to speak at both the executive and IT levels

  • CISSP, CISM, GIAC, or comparable certification required

  • BS/BA preferred but not necessarily required

US MILITARY VETERAN ON-THE-JOB APPRENTICESHIP AND TRAINING PROGRAM

Trusted Internet, LLC, is proud to offer a unique training program established exclusively for Veterans for the purpose of enabling, at completion, certification as a Cyber Security Analyst.  

This is a 2-year training program consisting of four (4) phases during which the Veteran, as a Trusted Internet employee, will be trained to the certification guidelines of DoD 8570/DoDD 8140.  To build salable skillsets within each Vet, Trusted Internet will also combine skills and certification with over twelve (12) months of real world customer-facing security operations in our security operations center (SOC), architectural design with our engineers, and hands-on technical implementation of various security tools and appliances. All of the training is conducted in a virtual environment with continuous mentoring and coaching from Trusted Internet Senior Cyber Security Analysts. 

Requirements:

  • No prior experience is required, but you must be honorably discharged or participating in a Skills Bridge program.

  • After initial training, you will be expected to stand three twelve-hour shifts per week.
